2. Platform Role

PawPal only acts as a technology platform that facilitates communication and booking transactions.

PawPal does not directly provide pet care services and is not an employer of any service provider.

3. Pet Owner Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal information.
  • Provide accurate pet information.
  • Disclose aggressive behavior.
  • Disclose illnesses and medical conditions.
  • Provide emergency contact details.
  • Respect approved schedules.
  • Communicate honestly with providers.

4. Provider Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time.
  • Provide safe pet handling.
  • Act professionally.
  • Avoid misleading service claims.
  • Respect pet owners.
  • Maintain proper communication.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments may be completed using approved payment methods available within the platform.

Refund Types

  • No Refund
  • Partial Refund
  • Full Refund

Refund decisions are subject to review by platform administrators. Refund approval is not guaranteed.

6. Wallet Policy

  • Wallet balances may only be used within PawPal.
  • Fraudulent wallet activity may result in account suspension.
  • Refunds may be credited to the user wallet.
  • Wallet balances cannot be transferred between accounts.

7. Payment Verification

  • GCash payments require proof submission.
  • Proofs may be reviewed manually.
  • Fake receipts are prohibited.
  • Edited screenshots are prohibited.
  • Incorrect information may result in rejection.

8. Fraud Policy

The following actions are considered fraud:

  • Fake receipts
  • Identity theft
  • Fake accounts
  • False service claims
  • Manipulated screenshots
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Scam activity

9. Warning System

10. Immediate Permanent Ban

  • Identity theft
  • Fake payment receipts
  • Threats of violence

  • Repeated scam attempts
  • System exploitation
  • Malicious software distribution

11. Security Policy

  • Users are responsible for account security.
  • Users must protect passwords.
  • Password sharing is prohibited.
  • Suspicious activity may trigger account review.

12. Reports & Investigations

Administrators may review:

  • Messages
  • Bookings
  • Payment submissions
  • Activity logs
  • Uploaded evidence

13. Liability Disclaimer

PawPal administrators, developers, researchers, project advisers, institutions, affiliates, and system owners shall not be held liable for:

  • Pet injuries
  • Pet illnesses
  • Pet escape
  • Pet death
  • Property damage
  • User disputes
  • Provider disputes
  • External payment failures
  • Internet outages

14. Emergency Situations

PawPal does not provide emergency veterinary services. Users must immediately contact emergency responders, veterinarians, or appropriate authorities during emergencies.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

User information may be collected and processed for account management, booking management, security monitoring, fraud prevention, and payment verification purposes.

16. Acceptance

By registering, logging in, submitting payments, booking services, or continuing to use PawPal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms and Conditions.
